Blocked, dropped or split — three different jobs
A blocked hose is the easy one: grease and soft debris collect at the tightest bend or at the disposer spigot, and the line clears and goes back as it was. A dropped hose has nothing wrong with the rubber at all — it has lost the rise it needs above the tub, usually because a cabinet was refitted or the machine was pulled out and pushed back, and it is re-clipped at the right height.
